Frequently Asked Questions

  • A booking is confirmed once the deposit has been received. Full payment is due one week prior to delivery or collection.

  • Our standard hire period is 48 hours ONLY. Late returns will be charged at a daily hire rate until items are returned.

  • Yes, clients are welcome to collect and return items directly from our Upper Orara studio by prior arrangement. Alternatively, we offer delivery (fees apply).

  • Silverware MUST NOT be placed in the dishwasher. All silverware pieces must be handwashed only and returned rinsed and free from residue. Plates and cutlery can be dishwasher-cleaned.

  • Cancellations more than 30 days before booking receive a full refund. Within 14 days, a 50% refund is provided. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable.

Terms of Service

By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.

  • 1. Booking and Payment

    A booking is confirmed once payment for deposit has been received

    Deposits are non-refundable

    Full payment must be paid in full a week prior to delivery or collection of hire items

  • 2. Hire Period

    Hire period is for 48hours ONLY unless other extended arrangements have been made prior to your event

    Late returns will be charged a daily hire rate until items are returned

  • 3. Use of Items

    Haus of Geena items are strictly for styling and serving purposes only

    Items must not be placed in ovens, microwaves, or exposed to flames or direct heat

    Silverware items MUST NOT be placed into dishwasher

    Customers are responsible for ensuring proper use and safe use at their event

  • 4. Care and Cleaning

    Silverware items must be returned rinsed and free from food, drink, or wax residue

    All Haus of Geena silverware pieces must be handwashed only, do not use dishwasher

    Tablescape plates, cups and cutlery can be completely washed in dishwasher

    Professional polishing is not required

    Excessive soiling will incur an additional cleaning fee

  • 5. Damage, Loss & Replacement

    All items are inspected before and after events

    The hirer is responsible for any damage, breakage, or loss from time of delivery/collection until items are returned

    Replacement charges will be invoiced at full retail value of the item

    Damaged or missing items must be reported immediately

  • 6. Delivery and Collection

    Delivery fees apply in addition to hire fees and will be added to your invoice

    Additional fees may apply to afterhours service, difficult areas or locations to access

    Clients are welcome to collect and return items directly from our Upper Orara studio by prior arrangement

  • 7. Cancellation and Refunds

    Cancellations more than 30 days before booking: full refund including deposit

    Cancellations within 14 days: 50% refund

    Cancellations within 7 days: no refund

    Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days

  • 8. Liability

    Haus of Geena is not liable for injury, damage or loss from use of hire items

    It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure safe handling and use of all items

    Hire items must not be handled by children

    Customers should take care when using items with candles or other styling elements

  • 9. Force Majeure

    Haus of Geena is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or inability to deliver services caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including weather, strikes, illness, or government restrictions)

  • 10. Governing Law

    These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of NSW.
